“Pool is one of those rare kinds of photographers; he has the strength to show us that the common and everyday qualities in the human form are just as beautiful as glitter and glamour. Raw, powerful, and completely truthful, this is what nude photography should be all about.”

The Future...
2011 has seen the start of a new body of work that will seek to build upon my first 7 years worth of experience 2004 to 2010.
This includes the knowledge gained at the QLD College of Art, where both the positive and the negative have helped shape this new era and it is with great anticipation that I look to everything that comes out of it... I also look forward to working with some of my favourite people and a few new ones too.
2012 has had a brilliant start with the collaborative 'FLESH' exhibition with Clarissa Bones and the forthcoming release of my first book. A wonderful show and amazing experience.
Cheers
Ian
