Flesh is the first collaboration by two unique Brisbane Artists- IC Pool and Clarissa Bones under the name:

This collaborative series of photographs seeks to re-contextualise the classic nudes of 15th century renaissance into a postmodern digitally sterile world.
Subtly evoking the vanitas symbolism of Dutch masters, the images seek to remind us that whilst 'Everything is Meaningless', the colourful seeded fruits herald that life will go on... regardless.

Beyond this contrast between Life and Death, Flesh also exposes the raw textual qualities of the flesh of both 'fruits'... as exotic, succulent and enticing - fruit of the flesh and fruit of the earth.
