January 10 - A new year and the launch of my alter ego - The Holy Green Cow - an avenue for Ian's adventures in art and his own life journey.
September 09 - Public Collection - Ian's first work accepted into the Collection of the Tweed River Regional Art Gallery NSW !!! A fantastic honour.
August 09 - Olive Cotton Portrait Prize and Ian was judged Winner of the 'Hanger's Choice' Award!!! for his portrait of Ana Marina.
July 09 - Finalist in the 2009 Olive Cotton Portrait prize. Winner to be announced in August.
May 09 - Churchie Emerging Art Prize- Not a win, but a Special Mention from the Judge and the photo 'Schneewittchen' sold and has gone to a good home!! (both just as good as a win really)
April 09 - Churchie Emerging Art Prize- Ian just found out he is a finalist in the 2009 Churchie Art Prize!!!
March 09 - New shoots with Imogen, Lauralia and Ana Marina

December 08 - Palmer Pool Photography - launches it's new website. Palmer Pool is a new business by Ian and Clara which caters to all aspects of professional photography. Visit the website here.
November 08 - New Gallery - Ian has added a gallery with some of the work that he has completed at University - There is an adult concept Warning - Go HERE to see the new gallery.
September 08 - Winner - Best Photographer - Nundah Art Prize - With the joint effort ' Opalescence' by Ian and Clara. Presented by the local minister this is a great honour indeed.
September 08 - Exhibition - Seaside Artists Gallery Redcliffe. Featuring Works by Ian Pool and Clara Palmer as well as some of the collaborative works.

February 08 - Accepted into the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers)
February 08 - Ian's headshot of Ana Marina makes the Official 'Phantom of the Opera' programme - Opening night in Brisbane was fantastic and capped off a really great experience. If you haven't seen this version of Phantom, book now!!
January 08 - Accepted into Qld College of Art in the Bachelor of Photography course. A fantastic surprise and a wonderful opportunity.
October 07 - First Photo shoot in a number of months and some great shots. Check them out now and there will be more coming soon.
September 07- For the second year running Ian has achieved runner up in the Nundah Art Prize. Not bad at all. Especially good news as it fell on the eve of his 40th birthday. So much celebrating was done :)
July 07 - Fantastic News for fans of Ana Marina. She has been getting rave reviews for her portrayal of Christine opposite Anthony Warlow in the Australian Tour of Phantom of the Opera. It's curently in Melbourne before touring the country over the next 18 months.
May 07 - Accepted as an accredited photographer for YOTM (Year of the Model) a nation wide fashion modelling competition. Please contact Ian for more details of the competition if you wish to enter.
September 06 - Runner Up in the Nundah Art Prize!! Judged on the 9th of September (Ian's Birthday) and couldn't have been a nicer present.. well maybe a little nicer :)
July 06 - IcPooL has been selected as 'Photographer of the Month' by Photography Australia Go here to view the spread
June 06 - Ian has just placed 3rd in the 2006 "QLD Open Photographer of the Year Awards" - The awards were held at Rydges Southbank with an amazing field from around the State including Kevin Evans and Peter Rossi. His award winning entry was a portrait entitled 'Lost'. Thanks go to the organisers and the State Minister Pat Purcell that presented the Awards.
New Gallery!! - Seaside Artists Gallery in Redcliffe have taken on my framed work - check the address on my links page - it is a fantastic gallery and I am proud to be a part of thier growth.
May 06 - Front Cover Photo - On the Move Magazine - has used my photo 'Gone' to promote the 2006 Qld Photography Awards which are on the weekend of the 2nd to 4th June at Rydges Southbank.
May 06 - ICPOOL.COM ver2.0 is now up and running with brand new and inspired works by Brisbane photographer Ian Pool. This site is aimed at becoming a source for both purchasing prints online as well as commissioning portraits etc.

March 06 - IcPooL's latest exhibition was held at Galerie Dauphin Singapore as part of an Australian Art Showcase. The exhibition started on the 15th of March and ran for two weeks.
